Mahavir vikram bajragee |----------------You have exceptional valor with body as strong
as thunderbolt,
Kumati nivara sumati ke sangi ||------You dispel wicket thoughts and a companion of wisdom
and good thoughts,
Kanchana barana biraja suvesa |-----You are of golden color and wear fine clothes,
Kann kundala kunchita kesa ||---------You wear shining ear ring (kundalam),and have curly hair,
Haat vajar aor dhvaja biraje |------------You have the thunder bolt and flag in hand,
Kandhe munja janevu sajee ||-----------and the shoulders have the Sacred thread made of
sacred grasses,
Sankar suvana kesari nandana |-------You are Incarnation of Lord Shiva and the son of Kesari,
Tej pratapa maha jag Vandhana ||-----You are adored by the whole world on account of
your radiance and courage,
Vidhyavan gune aati Saatura |-----------You are learned, virtuous and extremely intelligent,
Ram kaaj karibe ko aatura ||--------------You are always eager to do the works for Lord Rama.
Prabhu charitra sunibe ko rasiya |-----You delight on hearing the Rama charithra,
Ram lakhan sita maan basiya ||----------You always have Lord Rama, Lakshmana and Devi Seetha
in Your heart,
Susham roop dhari siyahi dhikhava |--You assumed a subtle form when You revealed
Yourself to Sita,
Vikat roop dhari lank jarava ||-------------and Assuming an awesome form You burnt Lanka,
Bhim roop dhari asur samhare |----------then You assumed a gigantic form and destroyed
the demons,
Ramchandra ke kaaj savare ||--------------thereby accomplishing the mission of Lord Rama,
Laye sanjeevan lakhan jiyaye |------------You brought the Sanjeevani mountain and saved lakshman,
Shriraghuvir harsha ure laye ||-------------for that Lord Rama embraced You joyfully,
Raghupati kinhe bahut badai |--------------Sri Rama extolled You greatly,
Tum mama preye bharat sam bhai ||-----and declared You to be as dear as Baratha,
Sahas vadan tumarhu jas gavey |----------Adishesan, the one who has 1000 heads also sings
Your glory,
Aas kahi shripati kant lagavey ||------------and this is stated by lord Rama,while taking You in
His embrace,
Sanakadeeka bhramadhi munisa |----------the sages Sanaka,Sanathana,Sanandana

Kavi kovida kahi sake kaha thi ||----------------failed to describe You adequately,
Tum upkar sugreeva kehina |------------------ You rendered an invaluable service to Sukreevan,
Ram milaye raj pad denha ||----------------------by introducing him to Rama,
Tumraho mantra vibhekshan mana |----------Veebeeshana Followed Your words,
Lankeshvar bhaye sab jag jaan ||--------------And thus became the king of Lanka and
the whole world knew this,
yug sahesra yojan per bhanu |-------------------You swallowed Sun which was 16000 miles apart,
Leelyo tahi madhur phal janu ||------------------You assumed it to be a sweet fruit,
Prabhu mudrika meli mukh mahi |--------------carrying lord Rama's ring You crossed the ocean,
Jaldhi ladhi gaye acraj nahi ||---------------------there is no wonder in that
(because of Your previous deeds)
Durgama kaaj jagat ke jete |------------------------all the difficult tasks of the world,
Sugam anugrah tumre dete ||---------------------are easily possible by Your grace,
Ram duaare tum rakhvare |------------------------You are the gate keeper of the lord Rama's kingdom,
Hoota na aagya bina pasare ||---------------------where none may enter without Your permission,
Sab sukh lahai tumhre sarna |---------------------he who seeks refugee in You enjoys every happiness,
Tum rakshatha ka hu ko daarna ||-----------------what is there to be afraid of if You are the protector,
Aapan tej samharo aape |---------------------------You alone can control Your energy,
Teno lok hakte kape ||------------------------------ the 3 worlds tremble before Your power,
Bhut pesach nikat nahi aaveh |-------------------devils and evil waves don't dare to near one
Mahavir jab naam sunaveh ||----------------------who utters Your name
Nase rog hare sab peera |--------------------------all diseases are destroyed and pains vanish
Japat nirantar hanumat bal bira ||----------------hen Your name is recited (with love and devotion)
Sankat se hanuman chudave |--------------------when amidst problem pray Hanuman,
Manu krama vasana dhyan jo lavey ||------------by mind, body, words,and thought,
Sab per ram tapasvi raja |----------------------------lord Rama fulfills the wishes of sages
who do penance,
Tin ke kaaj sakala tum saja ||-----------------------You fulfilled all the mission of Lord Rama,
Aur manorat jo kayi lave |----------------------------in addition to giving what the devotees want,
Tasuye amit jeevan phal pavey ||------------------You also give them mukthi (the highest reality)
Charo yuga pratap tumarah |------------------------in all the 4 yugas Your fames lives,
Hai prasidh jagat ujeyara ||---------------------------and Your fame radiates through the world,
Sadhu sant ke tum rakhvare |----------------------You protect the sadhus and saints,
Asur nikandan ram dulare ||-------------------------You destroy demons as per Lord Rama's wish,
Ashta sidhi navnidhi ke thatha |-------------------You are the bestower of the 8 types of powers

As var deen jaanki mata ||----------------------------this boon was given to You by Devi Seetha,
Ram rasayan tumhre pasa |------------------------- the essence of devotion to lord Rama is withYou,
Sada raho raghupati ke dasa ||-------------------- always You stay as His devotee,
Tumreh bhajan ram ko bhavey |------------------- through devotion to You one attains Rama,
Janam janam ke dukh bisravey ||----------------- all the birth's evils are swept away,
Ant kaal raghupathi pur jaie |-------------------------at the end of one's life, when one goes to Rama,
Jaha janmi hari bhagat kahaei ||------------------ he is considered as devotee of the God,
Aur devta chitna dharaei |--------------------------- not thinking of other God's,

Kripa karo guru dev ke naai ||----------------------- as supreme Guru give us Your grace,
Jo sat bar pat kar koi |-------------------------------- he who recites this chalisa for 100 times,
Chutehi bandhi maha sukh hoai ||-----------------is sure to be freed from worldly bonds and
taste the real happiness,

Ashta Sidhi - 8 super natural powers are
1.ANIMA-reducing one's body size t that of an atom,
2 MAHIMA-.expanding the body size hugely,
3.GARIMA- becoming infinetely heavy,
4.LAHIMA- infinetely light,
5.PRAPTI- unrestricted access to any place,
6.PRAKAMYA- realizing whatever one desires,
7.ISITVA- absolute lordship,
8.VASITVA- subjugating all.
NAVA NITHI
1. Parkaya Pravesh: one’s soul entering into the body of other person.
2. Haadi Vidya: a person feels neither hunger nor thirst, and can remain without eating food or drinking water for several days.
3. Kaadi Vidya: a person is not affected by change of seasons. eg. a person shall not feel cold even if he sits in the snow-laden mountains, and shall not feel hot even if he sits in the fire.
4. Vayu Gaman Siddhi: capablity to fly in the skies
5. Madalasa Vidya: a person becomes capable of increasing or decreasing the size of his body according to his wish.
6. Kanakdhara Siddhi: One can acquire immense and unlimited wealth
7. Prakya Sadhana: Through this Sadhana a Yogi can direct his disciple to take birth from the womb of a woman who is childless or cannot bear a child.
8. Surya Vigyan: using it, one substance can be transformed into another through the medium of sun rays.
9. Mrit Sanjeevani Vidya:. Through it, even a dead person can be brought back to life.
